Karen Kumar completed both her HBSc in neuroscience and MEd in developmental psychology and education at the University of Toronto. Over the last few years, she has worked closely with school-aged children, including those with exceptionalities, in teaching and support counselling roles. Her research interests lie in developing academic interventions, social skills programs, and community psychoeducation initiatives for children and adults. Furthermore, Karen aspires to be a clinical psychologist. She is enrolled in the Make-Up Psychology program to meet the requirements required for applying to clinical psychology graduate programs.
