Sarah graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Sexuality, Marriage, and Family studies in 2018. Her undergraduate thesis project, which focused on the wellbeing of self-identified gifted university students, was completed in the lab. Sarah recently received an M.Ed. from the University of Ottawa in Counselling Psychology and is currently a volunteer counsellor for survivors of sexual assault and violence. Her research interests are focused around trauma and mental health and wellbeing, such as resiliency and hope among students. She is also interested in mental health literacy and how it can be integrated into education.
